Whew what a month!!!!! I wasn't sure I'd find time to update this month but I've scraped in by the skin of my teeth. So much going on - mostly good; some not so good but that's life. I have managed to complete 9 items from my list and have 15 ongoing at the moment. Unfortunately the TOAST devil got me before I could complete the 30 days and so I will try again (and again as necessary) until I am in control. Hopefully better meal-planning will help me to turn this around.
I have added a few more items to the list and once my new Granddaughter is born ( 5weeks to go) I hope to be able to concentrate a little more.

I could go on for ages about all that's been going on but I should get to bed soon as there's work to be done tomorrow. I will try to post more often than once a month as there is so much to say but so little time if I save it all up. So perhaps 'little and often' is the way to go.

One Week Update

It's hard to believe that 7 days have gone since I started this challenge. It is really keepnig me focussed on what I want to achieve. I will complete the list as and when, I am sure that completing some of the challenges will lead into others as I go! I am going to have to give the 'Race for Life' a miss this year but may look into it again next year if legs and back improve! I book-crossed my first book this morning, funny how exciting it is to think that it may travel further afield than I have! I have also done what I thought would be completely impossible - I have managed to live without TOAST for a whole week, just another 3 weeks to go. Think I might make it to the end as I have lost 3lbs this week (usually lose half a pound then gain it back the following week). Perhaps I might even manage to knock the TOAST devil completely into touch lol. We have also started clearing the gardens in readiness for the mammoth task of planning, landscaping, planting and maintaining them, I am really excited about having a little veg plot so that I can harvest my own soft fruit and veg. So that's where I am up to now- 7 days done only 994 left to finish all challenges - scary? a little!

Hi All
I have been inspired to do '101 things in 1001 days' by the guys on MSE. Sooooo, am setting up this blog to keep me in touch with the list and hopefully to help me to manage the tasks.
Number 1- to write the list
I have started on this, it isn't as easy as it sounds. I am giving myself tomorrow to complete as much as possible with a start date of 15/04/2009. This means that my list should be finished on my birthday in 2012!!

See you all then........
